A Little More About Apollo
Getting into the Sport: Grew up playing every sport available to him (hockey, soccer, basketball, volleyball, track & field, swimming); it wasn’t until he was 14 that he dedicated himself to swimming… Outside Interests: Attended the University of Lethbridge… Odds and Ends: Member of the Kainai Nation…

1949, Aerial View of LCI Area
This 1949 photograph is looking north from the north-end of the Victoria Park neighbourhood, across the Warehouse District and across part of north Lethbridge. The picture starts around 5 Avenue and 17 Street South (at the bottom of the photograph).
Some buildings which can help to orient the viewer are Ellison’s Milling (left side, 1/3 from the top), the original LCI (1/4 in from the left and about in the centre of the photograph).
The original LCI later became Hamilton Junior High and is now the Public School Board Office.
The present day LCI and St. Francis are under construction in the photograph.
It’s fun to see all of the various pathways that people made prior to all of the houses and other buildings being constructed.
Great crowd out tonight for Seniors Night at the LCI Gym. Packed gym to watch the Clippers and Rams vs Cardston. @lciaadance performed at halftime and put on an amazing show.
Nate Morris shows how selfless he is in the video by hanging on the rim a little longer than usual, to make sure everyone below him was safe. You can’t be too careful when it comes to these things!
Check this out! Another amazing program at LCI. The dance academy is putting on a show. They shared their talents with us at the pep rally. These kids are amazing! AWAKENING

LCI wrestlers captured provincial gold in boys and girls team events. Amazing job to our wrestlers! Nolan Gobeil, Tamryn Bly and Payton Shields all won individual gold medals.
Coach Brian Donaldson would be so proud of what he built. It’s nice to see Ram alumni like Pat Selk, Nathan Shields, Riley Ellis Toddington and Simon Ellis Toddington coaching the team and carrying the torch that Brian lit so many years ago.
This was found today. Zoom in. A nice letter from the Premier of Alberta congratulating the LCI Rams after 3 straight provincial football titles in 1988, 1989, 1990. We hope some former Rams out there see this and have some fond memories of the journey. #rampride #greenandgold #lcirams #football #albertafootball #asaa
